
ABOUT SANGKAYA
Officially started in march 2014, Sangkaya has now available in 9 different locations, 7 in Klang Valley and 2 in Malacca and have franchise in Johor. It was all begins on the Valentine's Day one year back. The team tested the market in Jalan Alor and of course the response was good. They were first known as the Alor Coconut Ice cream, where they were just a push cart kiosk in Jalan Alor and it remains. John, founder of a coconut company named Sangkaya where he shared his knowledge about coconut, as well as the story behind the coconut company.
Sangkaya is named after the co-founder of this unique company, Sangrida Kaya who is an international F&B entrepreneur. Beside that, John would like the company to carry the real Asian image where the name Sangkaya sounded very Malaysian. In Chinese meaning, Sangkaya actually means a person who rich.
The coconut ice cream is freshly made daily in a small batches with the best quality from Thailand. With the aim of being the coconut ambassador, the main item in Sangkaya is coconut ice cream, available as "signature","cup" and "cone". Signature is the way they prepared, 4 scoops of premium coconut ice cream with 3 natural toppings of your choice, bedded on coconut flesh strips and served in fresh coconut husk.

The most popular menu at this cafe is Signature. It served with 4 scoops of premium coconut ice cream and 3 all natural toppings choice. The price is only RM 9.90 which is affordable. The customers like Signature because they can choose their own toppings combine with 4 scoops of premium coconut ice cream. In addition,the taste of coconut is pure.
VALUE PROPOSITION
Sangkaya cafe different from other cafe because this cafe serves their customers with special menu which is dessert that made by coconut. In a simple words, this cafe is all about coconut ice cream.Customers can sprinkle the toppings by themselves.They can choose what toppings they like to eat.There are 6 options which is coconut flakes, roasted peanuts, cereal, cornflakes, sweet corn, and kidney beans. As the slogan implies,they will make us go "Nuts About Coconuts" with their entire coconut menu.The menu consisted of purely coconuts. Coconut Icecream in a husk (RM 9.90, SGD$3.30), in a cup (RM 6.90, SGD$2.30), in a cone (RM 2.90, SGD$1), Chendol (RM 9.90, SGD 3.30), Coconut Shake (RM 8.90, SGD$3) and Coconut Water (RM 4.90, SGD$1.60). There are 2 storeys high with a homely feel, wifi access (to upload #FOTD, #OOTD, #POTD etc) and a comfortable grass carpet for lazing around and people watching.

This cafe is specialized with the dessert specially made by coconut. They attarct the customers with their taste of dessert that they serve is unique and different form other cafe's. The environment is so peaceful and the customers feel so relaxing if they spend time at Sangkaya cafe. Customers liked to refresh themselves with the coconut ice-cream and coconut drink as well.The price of the ice-cream is cheap and reasonable.
